Private Piano Tuition

School Music Teaching

Ensemble Direction

Jerry Tsui is a concert pianist and music educator offering private piano lessons, visiting school teaching, accompaniment support, and ensemble direction. His teaching combines conservatoire-level training, musical imagination, and a supportive, structured approach tailored to each student.

He believes that piano playing should be built on secure technical foundations, sensitive listening, stylistic understanding, and a natural approach to sound. At the same time, true musicianship goes beyond accuracy: students should learn to shape phrases, understand structure, hear colour and voicing, and develop a genuine artistic voice of their own.

Based in Milton Keynes, Jerry offers lessons for children, adults, and aspiring musicians of all levels from his professional studio, equipped with two pianos including a Yamaha C3 grand.

As a concert pianist, his teaching brings together solid classical training with a creative and modern musical outlook. Having worked with leading musicians in the UK and internationally, he helps students build technique, confidence, imagination, and a deep connection with music.

Lessons are well-structured, supportive, and tailored to the individual, with the aim of helping every student play with security, naturalness, expression, and enjoyment. Jerry has a strong track record in exam preparation, with students achieving a 100% pass rate under his guidance. His students have also enjoyed regular success in competitions, with many winning prizes and awards.

Jerry is also available for school music teaching, ensemble coaching, and orchestra leadership. He works with young musicians to develop rhythmic confidence, listening, ensemble discipline, and expressive playing in rehearsal settings, and can support schools with concert preparation, sectional coaching, and repertoire planning suited to the level of the group.

If you would like to discuss your individual needs or book a one-to-one lesson, please get in touch. Jerry will be happy to help and advise.
